Job Safety Assistance ® Pty Ltd - Refunds Policy
- Refund Procedure
All requests for refund must be made by completing our online "request form" which can be found by following this "link" or by the menu link entitled "registration" located on the left hand side of each page and following the appropriate link. All fields marked with a red * are mandatory.
Request for refund based on special consideration should normally be made within 10 business days of the event that qualifies for a refund. Please review the description of special considerations below.
Refund requests may be granted provided that they comply with the conditions as set out below in the section titled "eligibility for refunds". On granting a refund an email will be sent to the address entered on the request form listing the refund amount.
Any refund due will be processed within 10 business days of granting the request and will be credited into the bank account or credit card that the deposit was paid from, no refunds will be paid in cash or by cheque.
- Eligibility for Refunds
To be eligible for a refund all request not based on special consideration must comply with our registration terms and have been made by completing the online "request from". Our registration terms can be viewed by following the link entitled 'legal" located on the left hand side of each page.
A request for a refund based on special consideration will be granted provided that a request has been made by completing the online 'request from" and meets the conditions as set out below under the section titled "special consideration".
- Special Consideration
Special consideration may be given to any refund request regardless of other provisions set out with in this policy and the registration terms and conditions. Which may change the amount of fees that are refunded.
A total or partial refund may be granted subject to exceptional consideration, which may include but are not limited to :-
a) Serious illness or disability which prevents a participant from attending on the day or subsequent days of a course
b) Death of a participant or a member of their immediate family (parent, sibling, spouse or child)
c) Political or civil unrest or natural disaster.
- Non eligible for refund
A refund will not be granted if a participant provides misleading information to Job Safety Assistance ® Pty Ltd at any time, Job Safety Assistance ® Pty Ltd reserves the right to retain 100% of any fees paid and cancel the participants registration.
A participant that withdraws from a course after the commencement date will not be granted a refund unless eligible for special consideration.
Job Safety Assistance ® Pty Ltd at its discretion may allow a participant that has not been able to complete a course, subject to completing the online request form to attend the next available course.
On granting a postponement all fees paid will be retained, granting a postponement to attend a course is at the discretion of Job Safety Assistance Pty Ltd and is subject to an administration fee of $175.00 plus $17.50 GST in addition to any fees already paid or invoiced.
The application fee of $75.00 Plus $7.50 GST which is included in all course fees is only refundable if special consideration applies and is at the discretion of Job Safety Assistance Pty Ltd.
- Forfeit of Fees
Participants that fail to attend a course without requesting a postponement will forfeit all fees paid and are liable for the balance of the full course fee.
Participants that fail to bring required 100 points of identification along to a NSW WorkCover accredited course will forfeit 75% their courses fees paid, the balance will be used as a deposit for the next available course.
